Gujarat Alkalies And Chemicals Limited(GACL) was incorporated on 29 march 1973 in the state of gujarat by Gujarat Industrial Investment Corporation Limited(GIICL).Gujarat Alkalies And Chemicals Limited is a psu company promoted by gujarat government.Gujarat Alkalies And Chemical Limited(GACL) is a multi product chemical manufacturing company.The company is engaged in manufacturing various chemical products such as caustic soda flakes,caustic soda lye,chloromethanes,caustic soda prills,caustic potash flakes,potassium carbonate,potassium hydroxide,chlorine gas/liquid,hydrochloric acid,phosphoric acid,hydrogen peroxide,aluminum chloride,poly aluminum chloride awareness film.Its products are used by various industries which includes textiles,pulp and paper soaps and detergents,alumina,water treatement,petroleum,plastics,pharmaceuticals,agrochemicals,plant protection,refrigeration gases and epoxy.The company exports its product to europe,west asia,southeast asia,africa,middle east/far east and South Asian Association for Regional Co-operation(SAARC) countries.It has an installed production capacity of 412500 million tons per annum (MTPA) of caustic soda.Gujarat Alkalies And Chemicals Limited(GACL) has two units located at Vadodra and Dahej both in the state of gujarat.
